PYAZ AUR TAMATAR KI CHUTNEY/ONION,TOMATO CHUTNEY

A easy and delicious chutney prepared using onion and tomato(good for those who don’t like to use more coconut/coconut chutney)…
                You can call this as red chutney also as its red in colour…
   This chutney goes well with any type of dosas,idli,puris and paniyaram(appos/paddu)….
    This chutney is very delicious in taste ,just give this a try….

INGREDIENTS

•1 medium onion chopped
•1 medium tomato chopped
•15 seeds methi ke dane /fenugreek seeds
•5 red chillies
•1/4 tsp mustard
•2 tblsp fresh grated coconut
•1/2 tsp oil
•salt according to taste

TEMPERING/TADKA

▪1/2 tsp oil
▪1/4tsp mustard seeds
▪1 dry red broken chilly
▪1 spring curryleaves

METHOD

▪Heat a pan add oil ,musturd,let it pop,now add methi,red chillies fry awhile
▪add onions to this fry till soft
▪add tomatoes,salt fry till mushy
▪Switch off flame and leave to cool
▪Add coconut ,little water and grind to fine paste
▪Remove this to a container and give tadka of above mentioned ingredients
▪Enjoy this with any type of dosa,idli,paniyaram,puris….
▪best recipe for those who avoid coconut chutney

NOTE
*use equal number of onion and tomato in recipe …not more nor less..
