Pulav is said to be one pot meal with lots of nutrients in itas lots of vegetables used in it… its very easy and quick to prepare..
I love preparing pulavs or any rice items as its less time consuming ….a jat pat tasty rice gets done when done in pressure cooker..
•11/2cups mixed vegetables
(Beans ,carrot, green peas ,potato, cauliflower)
•1/2 tsp garammasala
•2 tblsp coriander leaves chopped
•1/2 cup coriander leaves
•1/4tsp cumin seeds
•A small piece star anise
•6/8 flakes garlic
•3greenchilles (or more)
▪ chop vegetables
▪grind all the ingredients mentioned under grinding to fine paste with the help of little water
▪Heat cooker add ghee and oil
▪Add onions fry this till translucent
▪Add masala paste fry awhile
▪Add all vegetables fry well ▪Add washed rice fry for 5 minutes
▪Add salt ,grammasala powder, coriander leaves …
▪Add water 4cups and boil close lid and cook for 2 whistles…let the cooker cool..
▪ garnish with deepfried bread pieces.
▪Pulav is ready enjoy with raitha ..
* cut bread slices -2 into small cubes and then deep fry this till golden….this enhances the taste of pulav..
*here I have used normal sonamasoori rice ,you can basmati if you desire…
