Squid is a fish which tastes good when cooked properly, but consumes more time in cleaning, you must be careful while cleaning this , but nowadays we get cleaned and chopped fish in the market so no worries only thing is you need to wash well remove its black impurities sticking to it thatsall…
This is very simple dry preparation from squid…. ….this was introduced to me by my husband (he cooks non veg recipes too good)for me…which tasted awesome with only few ingredients….so I keep preparing this recipe when ever I get squids ….its so simple and easy and spicy too…
Best to eat with steam rice or boiled rice, dal ,rasam….
•1-2cups of cleaned and washed squid cut into rings
•1 medium onion sliced
•1 slit /chopped greenchilles
•Few curry leaves
•1tsp gingergarlic paste
•2tsp freshly crushed pepper powder
•Salt to taste
•Coriander leaves for garnishing
▪heat pan add oil, onions saute till transparent add gingergarlic paste fry awhile add greenchilles, turmeric, pepper powder, salt fry wel
▪now add squid fry this well so that its coated well in the masala..
▪can sprinkle water and cook closed in medium flame
▪cook till squids are cooked…
▪atlast add limejuice and garnish with coriander leaves….
▪done enjoy this spicy with hot steamed rice/rasam or as sides/starter..choice is users
