CHUTNEY CHICKEN ROAST

  This a very tasty spicy dish prepared from chicken…..you can serve this as a starter or even with rice as aside dish…
A very spicy hot recipe using a green chutney…
  Less use of oil and no use of garammassla….
I had seen this recipe in a popular cookery show oggarane dabbi….
   A awesome recipe for a roast chichen is as follows

INGREDIENTS

•1kg chicken
•1large onion sliced
•1tsp gingergarlic paste
•1 tsp pepper powder
•Salt
• 2 broken red chillies
•2tsp oil
•2tblsp curds
•1tsp limejuice
•1/4tsp turmeric
•10 cashewnuts
•2tblsp fresh cream (optional)

For making green chutney
(Grind to fine paste)
•1cup pudina leaves
•1/2cup coriander leaves
•5/6 greenchilles
•1/2″ginger
•5/6 flakes garlic
•2tblsp water

METHOD

▪soak cashews and make paste and keep aside
▪clean and wash chicken well
▪to the cleaned chicken add above green chutney paste,curds, limejuice, turmeric and salt
▪marinate for half an hour
▪now add the marinated chicken to a pan without oil and cook till 3/4done.
▪see that its semi dry
▪Now heat another kadai add oil , add broken red chilles, onions fry well till brown,  add ginger-garlic paste fry well
▪add 3/4cooked chicken, pepper powder mix well
▪cook this on high flame so that it gets roasted well..
▪at the end add cashews paste cook for a minute
▪Atlast add cream mix add serve
▪Tastes good if roasted well
▪you can have this in semi dry form also…this also tastes good.
