This is a simple aromatic rice with little spices….
This is also famous as NAICHUR….
This is served with dal/kormas any chicken curries/any type of mutton curries or with egg curries……but I love this with chicken kurma….one of my favourite combo..
Try this simple flavoured rice
•2 cups basmati rice
•4 cloves /lavang
•1/2tsp black pepper corns
•1 medium onion sliced
•2 greenchilles slit
•1tsp gingergarlic paste
•A spring curryleaves
•1cup coconut milk/plain milk
▪wash basmathi rice well then add water and soak for 15-20 min
▪Heat cooker add oil and ghee then add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, black pepper corns, tejpatta fry for two second
▪Now add onions fry till golden
▪add in ginger garlic paste fry
▪add greenchilles, curryleaves, cashews and raisins fry this
▪Now add drained basmati rice fry for 5min.
▪ 2cups warm water
▪1cup coconut milk / plain milk
▪adjust salt to taste
▪close lid and take 2whistles whistles…
▪Serve this with any curries of your choice….
* you can substitute milk with water….but if milk added it gives richness to the rice..
