This is a side dish for rice roti, chapati’s made with gramflour and methi leaves….this is also called as junka/ pithla….
Easy side dish ….its just like pithla but not exactly like pithla recipe which I have mentioned before in my blog but here some variations I have done….
Try this…..

INGREDIENTS

•1 cup methi leaves
•1/2cup besan /gram flour
•1medium onion chopped
•1/2tsp mustard seeds
•5/6 curryleaves
• 1cup water
•2tblsp oil
•1tsp limejuice

For grinding

•3 greenchilles or more according to your taste
•2tblsp coconut grated
•4 flakes garlic
•1small piece cinnomon
•2 cloves
•1tsp cumin seeds/jeera
•1/4tsp turmeric powder

METHOD

▪ wash methi leaves and chop and keep aside
▪ mix gram flour and water well so that there are no lumps
▪grind all the ingredients mentioned for grinding with little water to coarse paste
▪ heat kadai add oil,add mustard seeds let it splutter ▪add onions ,curryleaves, turmeric fry for 2 minutes
▪add methi leaves,ground masala fry awhile till raw smell goes away
▪Now add salt ,gram flour paste  mix well and cook this on medium flame for 3 min with closed lid…
▪Cook till dry or have this semi dry….
▪atlast add limejuice and enjoy with hot chapati’s or rice rotis…

* you can add dil leaves, capsicum, mixed vegetables, spring onions any one vege instead of methi leaves….recipe is same
*this recipe is my variation,
*there are many ways of preparing this…
