Usually I was buying this sauce from market as my son is very much found of this yummy spicy sauce but now I have foundout a perfect recipe of this schezwan Sauce which can be easily prepared at home and can be stored in refrigerator for along time….try this easy recipe , I found this recipe in another food blog’ Ever green recipes’…Thanks to her for sharing this wonderful recipe…
• 1tsp ginger grated
•3tsp garlic grated
•12-15 dry red chillies (deseeded)
•1 tsp soya sauce
•2 tsp tomato sauce/ketchup
•1 tsp sugar
•1/2 tsp fresh pepper powder
•1/2 tsp salt
•2 tblsp refined oil
•1 cup water
▪First deseed dry red chillies for this cut chillies in middle with the help of sissors , remove seeds and add to water(enough to soak chillies ) and boil for 5 min so that it becomes soft.
▪Now take only boiled chillies and grind with little water in which it is boiled to a fine paste.(do this after chillies come to room temperature )
▪Take a pan add oil heat it add ginger-garlic grated fry till golden then add ground chilly paste, fry for a minute then add tomato ketchup, soya sauce, salt, pepper powder, and sugar boil well till thick ….cool this and store in a airtight container and refrigrate this and use when needed..
▪this can be used as a spread on bread, iddli, dosas,chappati also
▪I have used byadagi chillies here..
