This jam is prepared using thotapuri mango…this has mixed flavours of tangyness sweetness and a mild spice…. This goes well with dosas, puri,..


1 thotapuri grated
1tsp chilly powder
1tsp salt (according to taste)
2-3tsp jaggery grated


2tsp oil
1tsp mustard
1/4tsp methi seeds


Mix all the above mentioned ingredients and keep 30 minutes aside .Now in a heavy bottom kadai add oil, musturd, methi fry awhile till mustard splutter then add mixture of thotapuri cook till it is cooked and becomes thick like a jam as shown in  picture.

* you can add more jaggery if required, all depends on your taste buds..
