This is my version of gobimanchuri without deep frying gobis …yes gobis are stir fried instead of deep fry and rest all method remains same..
Usually for manchuries we deep fry gobi in a maida batter, but I have not used Maida or deep fried tried making gobi manchuri a little healthier.
So indulge this guilt free….
•2 tblsp oil
•2 cups gobi florets
•1 onion chopped
•1 capsicum sliced
•1 tblsp gingergarlic paste
•1/2tsp chilly powder
•1/2tsp turmeric powder
•1/2tsp garammasala powder
•1/2 tsp pepper powder
•1 tblsp cornflour
•1tsp soya sauce
•1/2tsp chilly sauce
•Tomato ketchup according to taste
•Coriander leaves for garnishing
•Spring onions chopped a few optional
▪Make a slurry from cornflour and water and keep aside.
▪Blanch gobi in warm water with salt and turmeric, stain this
▪Heat heavy bottom kadai, add oil add cauliflower florets fry on high flame for 5-8min keep stirring occasionally.. ▪Add chilly powder, salt,turmeric to gobi and give a good mix
▪After this add onions ,capsicum , gingergarlic paste mix well close lid and cook for 5more min mix well
▪Add all remaining powders fry well for a while
▪Add sauces keep mixing and atlast add cornflour slurry mix for 2min adjust salt and garnish with spring onions and chopped coriander leaves….
